The Order of Perpetual Indulgence of the Great Southern Land!

The Headquarters of the Order is the Convent of the Holy Loon which symbolically represents our belief that in Australia mental illness is badly cared for by Governments and anyone who disagrees with the "status quo" is labelled a "Loon" (lunatic) to inhibit freedom of speech.

The Order fundamentally supports the right of all GLBTIQ people to express their own spirituality within faith communities. Heterosexuality is not a necessary prerequisite to access or for faith and spiritual development.

The Order therefore whole heartedly supports marriage equality and believes that the sanctity of marriage", what ever that means. Our Societies are threatened more by "human mean spiritedness, harmful greediness and excess wastefulness", than anything same sex couples getting hitched will bring!

The "Only" "Official Spokesperson for the Board"  is The Blessed Father Gwydion of Kernow, Abbot of the Great Southern Land. Official statements are published on this website and are not released (gossiped) in whispered tones at social events.

We do perceive of Gossip as part of our mission to promote universal joy to the Members of the Gathered Faithful.
